The Department for Theatre Research coordinates the artistic and scholarly research of theatre and audiovisual art at Theatre Faculty JAMU.
Within our interdisciplinary research we combine methods derived from theatre studies, history, sociology, media analysis and anthropology. We also seek intersections with the field of artistic research – research through art which links art creation with academic discourse.
Our team consists of artists and scholars who closely collaborate with the faculty staff and students.
